BMW battery replaced but now the start stop feature won't engage, is that a separate problem

I got my 5 Series battery replaced about a week ago because it had genuinely been struggling to start consistently, and thankfully that part is resolved, the car starts fine now every time, but I’ve noticed the automatic start stop feature that normally kicks in at traffic lights just isn’t activating anymore, the indicator light for it even shows as off entirely rather than just temporarily disabled the way it sometimes does when the AC is working harder, does anyone know if this is a known thing that happens after battery replacement specifically, like maybe the system needs to relearn charge cycles before start stop becomes available again, or would something have needed to be manually reset or registered during the replacement process that maybe got missed, I live near Studio City and had the work done at a place slightly outside my usual radius, so now I’m second guessing whether I should go back to them specifically or look into BMW battery fitting near Studio City by certified technicians instead for a proper diagnosis of this new issue, has anyone experienced start stop specifically becoming unavailable after a battery swap, and if so did it self resolve after some driving, or did it require someone to actually go in and address it directly through some kind of system reset, I don’t want to keep driving around without this feature working if it’s meant to be functioning normally, but I also don’t want to unnecessarily pay for another diagnostic visit if this is something that commonly needs a short adjustment period following replacement, so if anyone’s dealt with this exact scenario of start stop disappearing after new battery installation, I’d appreciate hearing whether it resolved naturally or needed specific intervention to get working again.
